Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kitea, operated by Simple Optimum Solutions ("Simple OpS", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

Kitea audits your website and business listings, tracks search performance, generates marketing content in your business's voice, publishes content to accounts you connect, builds directory citations, researches link-building prospects, and reports on all of it.

Kitea acts on your instruction and within the permissions you grant. You remain the publisher of everything that goes out under your name.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your login, and for the actions of users you invite.

By connecting a third-party account you confirm you are authorized to do so and you grant us permission to access and act on it for the features you enable. You may disconnect at any time; the affected features stop immediately.

Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms.

You own your content — your website material, your brand, and the content Kitea generates for you. We claim no ownership of it.

Nothing publishes without your authorization. By default, every draft enters an approval queue. You may additionally enable automatic publishing for specific workstreams; doing so is your decision, it is off by default, and you can disable it at any time. Every business can switch it on, on the same terms, whatever its industry.

Automatic publishing never publishes an unconfirmed claim. A draft making a claim Kitea checks for — a credential, a licence, a result, a statistic — publishes automatically only if that claim matches a fact you have confirmed in Kitea; otherwise it waits for your approval. Which claims are checked follows your industry's rules.

Redirects. When Kitea itself moves a page to a new address, it redirects the old address to the new one without asking. Other redirects follow the same approval rules as content.

You are responsible for what you publish. Kitea generates drafts using your own material, and generated content can contain errors. Review before approving.

You must not use Kitea to publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harassing content, or to make claims you are not entitled to make.

Search engines and social platforms control their own rankings and algorithms. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic volume, lead count, or revenue outcome, and anyone in this industry who does is misleading you.

We commit to the work being done, done properly, and shown to you in full. We follow published search-engine guidelines and do not use link schemes, purchased links, or other manipulative tactics. We will not implement a practice we believe puts your site at risk, even if you request it.

Kitea is designed to operate outside the scope of protected health information and is not a HIPAA business associate.

You must not submit protected health information to Kitea, and you must not connect electronic medical records, practice management systems, or patient databases. Outreach features require a dedicated marketing mailbox rather than a clinical inbox.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. There is no setup fee. Fees are stated at purchase and exclude taxes.

There is a 90-day minimum term, reflecting how long meaningful search work takes to show results. After that the subscription continues month to month and you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.

You may download your data at any time from Settings → Data, including after cancellation and until the account is deleted.

Connected-account credentials are destroyed immediately when your subscription ends. Remaining account data is deleted 30 days later, unless you resubscribe first; if you do, connected accounts need reconnecting. A subscription ends at the close of the period you have paid for, or after two weeks of failed payment retries.

If you ask us to delete your account, your subscription is cancelled and the account deleted immediately. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

We aim for continuous availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Third-party platforms may change, rate-limit, or withdraw their APIs, which can suspend a feature through no fault of ours. Where that happens we will tell you plainly rather than quietly stopping the work.

Kitea is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, fails to pay, or uses the service in a way that risks harm to you, to us, or to a third-party platform. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem first.

We may update these terms and will post changes here with an updated date. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continuing to use Kitea after that constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.
